Two team riders made their way out to Fontana for winter training and racing. Keith and Junior phenom, Andy Proctor, went to Fontana and trained with YETI Pro World Cup racer, Aaron Gwin. Aaron coached us on line selection and race strategy for three days, and also went on a cross country ride to share with us what his XC intervals look like this time of year. Additionally, we spent a day riding in Lake Elsinore with Aaron on the best wet traction sand we’ve ever seen. Andy pulled off a sixth place in the Junior CAT 1 race and Keith pedalled to a 2nd place in the CAT 1 Men 43-49 category. Both Keith and Andy agree on two things: It was great to ride with Aaron, and the Fontana Wall will KICK YOUR BUTT! |

The Downhill Race at Winter Park last night went very well! There were almost 60 entrants I believe, so the whole race took about an hour with one minute intervals. The course was very fun, using their main DH trails... |

Crested Butte this year was phenomenal. It is one of my favorite races every year because of the venue. It has breath taking views, amazing weather, and a cool little town. After a long off season, It felt great to be at a race again. |
